Hello there, Let's Talk Styler's. I hope you all had a happy Cinco de Mayo with plenty of macho nachos, mega margaritas and frozen sangrias to go around. Although I failed to catch any inspiring Mexican themed ensembles while hitting la calle yesterday, I did catch some stylin' sombreros that were beyond muy grande, spotted Saturday at the 139th annual Kentucky Derby races in Louisville.

You may not be able to trust the B in Apt 23 to come back for another season, but you can trust the actress who plays the B to perfectly nail the contemporary derby dress code. Yes, Krysten Ritter mastered the merging of old fashioned femininity with bold modern edge in a lace trimmed floral print Dolce & Gabbana dress to win, accessorized with a big ribbon trimmed hat to place and chunky black, unforgiving heels to show.

What can I say? The B knows how to derby dress. She came off as a belle of the ball with bite, and one of the best things to come out of Kentucky since bourbon (and George Clooney).
